(AMEBVS) Astha Mahila Bal Vikas Sansthan is a social development organization, working in the field since 2007. It was registered under Society Act 1860 Sec 21 in 2014. ASTHA is a non-profit organization helping victims and survivors of sex trafficking, human trafficking, domestic servitude, and child abuse in Uttar Pradesh and at the Indo-Nepal border by researching, analyzing, addressing, and then implementing ideas.

Uma Maheshwari, serving as a Government Teacher, she holds B.Ed. degree. She is currently a member of the Board of Astha Mahila Evam Bal Vikas Sansthan. Having interest to work as a social worker for betterment of society, expertise in working with women and children, In the last 10 years she worked a lot for women’s and children of various slum areas for livelihood and health, she has been working with Astha Sansthan for the last 10 years. Supported ASTHA Sansthan in many workshops and trainings also provided learning material for Astha NFE centres. We keep getting the outputs and suggestions of Uma ji in our board meetings.

Sadaf Ansari whose life mantra is, Learn, Unlearn and Relearn. She holds a Master’s degree in Population Education and Rural Development with over 5 years of Experience in development sector. She has learned a lot during her journey of working for welfare of women, Children and youths. Sadaf dedicated her life working for Development Sector since her early twenties! Her Career Objective is to obtain a position as a social worker to support children, women and youth in low income area, to earn a position that enables her to work first hand with the underprivileged sectors of the society. And to live honest and to strive tirelessly to achieve organizational goal with her best efforts and always keen to acquire new skills. She also serves as a guiding light and our support system to ease out the most difficult challenges!
